I attended Cal State Long Beach and Chapman University.

I teach Economics, Government, Criminal Justice and the Law, and team teach Fire Technology.

We discuss current events daily to see the connections to the past and solutions for the present in all classes.Fire Technology is our new strand in LEAPS. We learn how to gain entry to the firefighting profession and do hands-on learning related to fire technology. My required senior classes are Government and Economics. Using current events, we look at the founding documents and theories of economics to see choices made that continue to affect our daily life. Criminal Justice is our 11th grade class in the pathway. We look at the process of the United States criminal justice system.
