Michael Carroll

I am the technology and PD coordinator here at Jordan High School.  I teach the Student Help Desk class where students fly drones for school media, help teachers with computer problems, and produce J-town Update.  I also coach golf.  

I have been with Long Beach unified for 15 years.  I started my career at Stanford Middle School.  At one point or another I have been at Millikan, Poly, Cabrillo, Lakewood, Butler/Nelson, Lindsay, Hamilton, and now Jordan. 

I hold a Bachelor's degree in history, a teaching credential in social studies, and an MBA focusing in management and marketing.  I also hold a VPSS certificate for special settings in all subjects. 

I enjoy hiking, surfing, and Golfing.  I spend 99% of my free time with my wife who is my best friend.
