Maryann Gleason

Ms. Gleason is a native of Long Beach and attended schools in the district while growing up.  After graduating from Millikan High School she went on to earn a degree in Political Science from Cal State Long Beach.  She then continued her education and received her teaching credential from Cal State Dominguez Hills.  This is her 26th year teaching in the district.  After substitute teaching for 2 years she worked at Hudson teaching 6th grade Social Studies and English.  Ms. Gleason then transferred to Jordan in 1999 and is  currently the Social Studies Department Chair while teaching 9th, 11th, and 12th grade courses in the IB/NAF Pathway.
